Since 2013, the Oral History Project has collected stories of those who served on board the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid from 1943 to 1974, as well as those associated with the submarine Growler, the space shuttle orbiter Enterprise, and the supersonic airliner Concorde. Mike Massimino, a former NASA astronaut, is now the Senior Adviser for space programs for the Intrepid Museum and a professor at Columbia University. Mike is a veteran of two space flights, the fourth and fifth Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions in 2002 and 2009.
